An experimental aquarium which I used to observe the nutrient export capabilities of emergent spiderwort and philodendron, the potential soluble iron issues with decorative shale, and the growth of submerged terrestrial moss. FrogSat 1 is a dwarf frog tank constructed from a broken CubeSat transport and display case.

A smaller setup using the tank from FrogSat 1. I removed the sump and emergent plants to reduce its desktop footprint -- also reducing the water volume by several gallons. FrogSat 2 will eventually be a shrimp breeding ecosystem tank that requires no water changes. This tank is still very new, set up in September 2022.
